One address, read by the person who writes the site:

There is no contact form, no ticket system and no chat widget. A form would just be a slower way of sending the same email, and it would need a third-party script, which this site does not load. Write to editor@lxnaydesign.net and it lands in a mailbox a human reads.

What is genuinely worth writing about

• A correction. The most useful mail this site gets. If you can point at the source that shows the error, it will usually be fixed the same week and logged in public on Corrections. If you cannot, send it anyway — finding the source is my job, not yours.
• A primary source I do not have. Release announcements, changelogs, mailing-list threads, old screenshots you took yourself, a mirror that still answers, a checksum file, a build log. Records beat recollections, but recollections tell me which records to go looking for.
• You were there. If you ran, packaged, mirrored, moderated or argued with any of the projects covered here, and something on the site reads wrong to you, say so. Being present is not the same as being right, and it is not automatically publishable, but it is always worth hearing.
• A rights or privacy concern. If something published here reproduces your work, or names you in a way you object to, write and say which page and which sentence. That gets looked at ahead of everything else.

What the answer will be

• Guest posts: no. Everything here is written in-house.
• Paid links, link insertions, sponsored posts, “content collaborations”: no, at any price. This site does not sell links, does not host them, and does not trade them. Disclosures is the standing version of that answer.
• “I noticed a broken link on your page and have a resource that would fit”: no. Broken-link outreach is a link-building script wearing a helpful face. If a link on this site is genuinely dead, say which one and I will fix it, but the replacement will be chosen the same way the original was.
• Requests for an ISO: this site does not host, mirror or re-serve any disc image, and never will. Where the surviving images legitimately live is a matter of record and gets written down in the relevant piece.
• Review copies, hardware, or anything else of value: nothing gets accepted. There is no arrangement to disclose because there are no arrangements.

How long a reply takes

This is a one-person publication and mail is answered in batches. A correction with a source usually gets a reply within a few days. A long piece of history, or something that needs checking against archives, can take a couple of weeks. Anything from the list above that starts with “no” may not get a reply at all, and that is not rudeness — it is the only way one mailbox survives.

What happens to your message

Your email is read, kept while it is useful, and used for nothing else. It is not added to a mailing list, because there is no mailing list. It is not sold, shared or fed to an analytics product. Details are on Privacy.

If a correction of yours changes a page, you will be credited by name on Corrections unless you ask not to be — and asking not to be is fine, no reason needed.
